World Without Nazism movement warns about threats Ukraine's Nazi pose to ethnic minorities
World Without Nazism international human rights movement led by Boris Spiegel has warned about threats that Ukrainian Neo-Nazi have posed to ethnic minorities.
"The absence of the international community's reaction can repeat the Kristallnacht [Night of Broken Glass] for non-Ukrainians and other ethnic minorities," the movement said in a statement circulated to Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
Human rights activists urge world leaders "to take concrete measures to protect human rights and prevent violence and genocide in Ukraine".
World Without Nazism considers dishonest the position of certain Jewish leaders who "consider the communities' state satisfactory when synagogues are on fire and when Jews face danger".
The movement fears that soon Nazism may be an official policy of the Ukrainian authorities. Human rights activists wonder "who can condemn Crimean residents, who want to get rid of Nazi and set up people's power on the peninsula", the statement says.
"Only those who want see Europe under Nazi and radical nationalists will condemn Crimea," the statement says.
