Stoltenberg advises Ukraine to ask NATO allies for weapons
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that NATO as an organization does not have its own weapons, hence the decision on their supplies to Ukraine should be taken by some of the allies, an Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels reported.
"As for weapons - NATO has no weapons. It means that the decision on this [weapons supply to Ukraine] should be taken by some of the allies, but not by NATO as an organization," the head of the Alliance said.
Stoltenberg also said he would meet with President of Ukraine Petro.
