NATO countries have started handing over weapons to Ukraine, Ukrainian Defense Minister Valery Galetei, who had attended the NATO summit in Wales together with President Poroshenko, said in an interview with Ukraine's Channel 5.
"I met the defense ministers of the world's leading countries, who could help us, behind the closed doors. They heard us. They have started handing over weapons," Galetei said.

The United States, Poland and Norway have denied that information. Source in Rome said that Italy was considering sending non-lethal military equipment to Ukraine in close coordination with is NATO partners. France refused to give any comments, saying that the soured was informal.
However, later President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine had agreed on direct deliveries of modern weapons with some NATO countries.
