Referendum turnout in southeast Ukraine's Lugansk tops 75%
According to latest reports, the turnout at a referendum on self-determination of southeast Ukraine's Lugansk region "has exceeded 75%" in the regional capital city, representative of the Lugansk referendum press centre Vasily Nikitin told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
Voting problems "arise in districts where the army hampers to hold a referendum" in the settlements of Svatovo, Melovoye, Belokurakino and Troitskoye, he noted.
Polling stations will be open until 10pm (8pm BST) on Sunday. First referendum results will be announced overnight to Monday.
