Intensified shelling in Donetsk republic to be discussed in Minsk - DPR envoy
The Contact Group's subgroup on security will focus on intensified shellings by Ukrainian forces on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) at the next meeting in Minsk on November 17, DPR envoy Denis Pushilin said on Friday.
"We need to discuss the situation with shellings in the framework of the subgroup on security," Donetsk News Agency quoted Pushilin as saying.
Pushilin also noted that DPR will not propose an emergency videoconference of the Contact Group because similar initiatives were unsuccessful in the past.
Ukrainian forces shelled a school in the Zaytsevo settlement from mortars of 120mm caliber in the morning.
The next meetings of the Contact Group and its four sub-groups will take place on November 17 and 24, as well as on December 8, 15 and 22.
