DNR: bodies of Boeing 777 crash victims remained in the 30-degrees heat for several days

The bodies of the Boeing 777 victims remained lying outdoors in the 30-degree heat because of pressure from representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). They did not allow the militias who controlled the crash area to take the corpses away for preservation, Alexander Borodai, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, said in a BBC interview published on Wednesday.

"We wanted to do that straight from start. But we felt extremely harsh pressure from the OSCE representative," Borodai said, adding that the OSCE mission forbade them to touch anything at the crash site until an international team of experts arrived.

"We waited for three days but the experts were not coming…They kept sitting in Kiev. It was simply impossible to continue keeping the dead bodies in the 30-degree heat any longer. It was simply absurd and inhumane. Indeed, it was a nightmare, a horror film," Borodai stressed.

Boeing 777 of Malaysia Airlines was en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it crashed over Ukraine's Donetsk region on July 17. All the 298 people onboard died.
