Timoshenko asks not to consider her candidacy to the post of Ukraine's prime minister
Yulia Timoshenko, the leader of the Batkivshchina (Fatherland) party, has asked her colleagues not to consider her as a candidate to the post of Ukraine's prime minister, the party's press office reported on Sunday.
"I was surprised to learn that I am being nominated to the post of the Ukrainian prime minister. No one has ever discussed that matter with me. Thank you for your respect but please do not consider my candidacy to the prime minister's post," Timoshenko said in her statement.
