Militia say Kiev forces' losses in Donbass exceed 80 servicemen over past week

Losses sustained by Ukrainian troops deployed in the force operation in Donbass in the past week amounted to 80 servicemen, chief of the operational command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Sinenkov said on Friday.

"The command of the Ukrainian armed forces continues the practice of non-disclosure of the real losses sustained by Ukrainian troops involved in the force operation. According to our data, such losses exceeded 80 servicemen in the past week," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying.

According to Sinenkov, non-battle casualties of the Ukrainian army (those killed and injured) in the past week reached 30 men, of whom 20 ran into Ukrainian mines and ten "received injuries of various degrees of gravity in drunken brawls."

In the recent time, the DPR reconnaissance services have been reporting growing losses in the Ukrainian army. Most of injuries were received in clashes between Ukrainian regular troops and nationalist battalions, in friendly fire and due to erroneous actions and negligence of Ukrainian commanders.
