Ukrainian military shell Donetsk western suburbs and Lugansk republic
At night to Saturday, the Ukrainian military shelled western suburbs of Donetsk, where three houses were damaged, head of the city's district Ivan Prikhodko said on Saturday.
"Last night, from positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was delivered shelling from weapons of 120mm caliber," he told the Donetsk News Agency, adding the fire came from positions near the Opytnoye settlement.
The Package of Measures to fulfil the September 2014 Minsk agreements, known as Minsk-2, that was signed in Minsk on February 12, 2015, envisaged a ceasefire regime between Ukrainian government forces and people's militias in the self-proclaimed republics in Donetsk and Lugansk (DPR and LPR) starting from February 15, 2015 and a subsequent withdrawal of heavy weapons from the line of engagement. The deal also laid out a roadmap for a lasting settlement in Ukraine, including local elections and constitutional reform to give more autonomy to the war-torn eastern regions.
Lugansk People's Republic
Kiev's military over the past 24 hours violated the ceasefire regime in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), the republic's Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"At 07:45, 13:30 and at 14:30, positions of the people's militia in Kalinovo were shelled from Novoaleksandrovka from IFV equipment, grenade launchers and small arms," the LuganskInformCenter quoted the ministry.
The people's militia reported use of small arms from positions in Novozvanovka at 10:20 and 10:50. At 17:09, the pro-Kiev forces opened fire from IFV equipment and small arms on positions of the militia in Kalinovo.
The defense ministry reports no victims.

On April 29, the Contact Group for a settlement in eastern Ukraine agreed yet another full ceasefire in Donbass starting from the midnight of April 30. It is an eighth ceasefire agreement since the autumn of 2014. The sides however continue accusing each other of ceasefire violations.
