Next three-party ministerial meeting on Ukraine-EU AA to be held September 12
The next three-party ministerial meeting of the European Union, Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the Ukraine-EU association agreement will be held September 12 in Brussels, European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht said Friday after the first tripartite ministerial meeting on the association deal's implementation.
The European Union, Ukraine and Russia have created a mechanism of consultations on the association deal between Kiev and Brussels, De Gucht said.
Experts from the EU, Ukraine and Russia will prepare an analysis of problems on the association agreement between Kiev and Brussels by September 1, De Gucht added.
Ukraine and the European Commission have admitted that liberalization of trade between the EU and Ukraine poses economic risks to Russia, he noted.
Russia will compile by July 20 a list of risks to its economy from an association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, and the list will be considered at expert consultations with Ukraine and the EU, the commissioner said.
