Russian air defenses down MiG-29, Su-25 aircraft - Defense Ministry
Russia's air defenses downed a Mikoyan MiG-29 and a Sukhoi Su-25 aircraft in the past day, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.
"Russia's air defenses downed an MiG-29 and an Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the Snegiryovka settlement in the Nikolaev region and near the Alexandrovka settlement in the Kharkov region in the past 24 hours," he specified.
In addition, according to Konashenkov, Russia's air defenses intercepted three munitions fired from Ukraine's Uragan multiple rocket launchers near the Dolgenkoye, Sukhaya Kamenka and Malaya Kamyshevakha settlements in the Kharkov region.
The Russian Defense Ministry spokesman also said that 12 Ukrainian drones had been downed near the Ilyichevka, Chkalovskoye, Krasnoye, Malye Prokhody, Zavody, Brazhkovka, Vernopolye, Ovodmitrovskaya and Grushevakha in the Kharkov region, as well as near Vasilyevka, Stakhanov and Teplogorsk in the Lugansk People's Republic.
