Moscow names two men detained in connection with terror attack attempts in Crimea
The Russian Foreign Ministry has named two suspects detained in connection with the foiled terror attacks in Crimea: Yevgeny Panov and Andrei Zakhtei.
"The Russian side has carried out a series of operations in Crimean territory to liquidate an agent network of Ukraine's Interior Ministry intelligence service," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement adding that the suspects linked to the terror attacks included both the citizens of Russia and Ukraine.
"All of them are giving confessionary evidence," the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
Moscow has also warned Kiev that the death of Russian military would not remain without consequences.
According to the ministry, any attempts to shake up the situation in Crimea are doomed to failure, and stability and security in the region will be ensured by all means.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has urged partners to put pressure on Kiev and warn it against dangerous moves.
"We are urging partners once again to exert direct, serious pressures on the authorities in Kiev and to warn them against taking dangerous steps that might have the most negative consequences," the Foreign Ministry said. "Playing with fire is no good."
