Russian ground forces may deploy units in Crimea — commander
There are no Russian ground forces in Crimea at present but their units may appear there, if they are assigned this task, Army Commander-in-Chief Oleg Salyukov said on Friday.
"There are no units or formations of land troops there. Only units and formations of the Black Sea Fleet are deployed there," the commander said.
But if this task is assigned, "we'll fulfil it," the commander said.
