Russia cannot extradite Snowden to US - ambassador
Russia cannot extradite former employee of US intelligence services Edward Snowden to the United States, Russian Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak said on Tuesday speaking at the John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC.
"We don't have any legal or moral reasons to give him back to the government of the United States," the ambassador said. He recalled that Russia and the US have no agreement on the extradition of persons suspected of committing crimes.
