Russian gas flows to European countries that allegedly refused it -- Gazprom head

Russian gas continues to flow to a number of European countries that allegedly refused it, Gazprom head Alexey Miller said, adding that such supplies go through the gas hub in Austria to countries of southeastern Europe.

"The molecules in the main gas pipeline have no national color. Swaps are quite common, and we know that Russian gas goes to many countries that have declared their refusal to consume Russian gas," he said in an interview with the program "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin," a fragment of which was published by journalist Pavel Zarubin on his Telegram channel. "For example, Gazprom is contracted to deliver gas to Europe to an Austrian hub, from where it goes to other EU countries, as well as to countries in southeastern Europe," the Gazprom head said.

"Of course, Russian gas is present on the European market in large quantities. And I would like to emphasize once again that even in those countries that declare that there is no Russian gas on their domestic market. It is not true," Miller added.
