International Criminal Court
Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court: The Kingdom of Norway signed the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court on 28 August 1998 and deposited its instrument of ratification on 16 February 2000.
Upon ratification of the Rome Statute the Kingdom of Norway made the following notification under article 87 (1) and (2) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court:"1. With reference to Article 87, paragraph 1 (a), the Kingdom of Norway hereby declares that the Royal Ministry of Justice is designated as the channel for the transmission of requests from the Court.
2. With reference to Article 87, paragraph 2, the Kingdom of Norway hereby declares that requests from the Court and any documents supporting the request shall be submitted in English, which is one of the working languages of the Court."
