Crimes (Amendment) Decree 2010

GOVERNMENT OF FIJI

CRIMES (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2010
(DECREE NO. 11 OF 2010)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President of the Republic of Fiji and the Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority Decree 2009, I hereby make the following Decree—

TO AMEND THE CRIMES DECREE 2009

Short Title and Commencement

1 .—(1) This Decree may be cited as the Crimes (Amendment) Decree 2010.

(2) This Decree is deemed to have come into force on the date of commencement of the Crimes Decree 2009.

Section 65(4) Amended

2. Section 65 subsection (4) of the Crimes Decree is amended by inserting the words "subsection 1 of after the word "under" and before the word "this"

Section 312 Amended

3. Section 312 of the Crimes Decree is amended by—

    (a) deleting subsections 6,7,8; and
    (b) renumbering subsections 9 and 10 as subsections 6 and 7.
