Belarusian governmental delegation on visit to Venezuela
A governmental delegation of Belarus headed by first vice-premier Vladimir Semashko has left today for Venezuela, BelTA has been informed in the Council of Ministers Office.
The visit will run until September 8.
As BelTA has already informed, since the Venezuela president’s visit to Belarus on July 23-25 the sides have negotiating the creation of joint oil production.
Thereupon, the Belarusian government was commissioned to study the feasibility of a project on increasing the use of liquid gas at filling stations.
Moreover, Belarus plans to deliver potash fertilizers to Venezuela and import phosphate fertilizers as well as phosphates and apatites from that country as raw materials for the Gomel-based chemical plant.
Belarus is also set to supply Venezuela with agricultural equipment and products of the processing industry.
