Ukrainian servicemen to train in Georgia
A group of Ukrainian servicemen will undergo a mountain-infantry training at the base of a special training center of the Georgian Armed Forces.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, 19 Ukrainian servicemen representing special subdivisions will train within frames of the International Course of Mountain Infantry Training in the educational center of the Georgian Armed Forces near the city of Sakhchere.
According to the information of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the main aim of the training is to prepare the Ukrainian servicemen to fulfill battle tasks in mountains.
In particular, in the course of the training, the Ukrainians will study the system of training specialists on organizing and preparing subdivisions for activities in mountains, and will familiarize themselves with the organization and HQ structure of the mountain infantry subdivisions of NATO partner countries, etc..
In addition, the Ukrainian servicemen are due to study standards of NATO member countries in this sphere.
According to the Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian servicemen will study in Georgia till August 24.
