Abkhazian army units started movement towards the Georgia border
The Abkhazian army has started movement towards the Georgia border.
An Interfax correspondent reported that armored vehicles plus artillery and infantry units started moving about six in the morning on Friday from the Ochamchir region of Abkhazia towards the Georgian border at the river Inguri.
Abkhazian President, Sergei Bagapsh, earlier told Interfax that following a nighttime meeting of the republic's Security Council and in connection with the situation in South Ossetia, the eastern group of the Abkhazian army would move towards the Georgian border.
