Black Sea Fleet Interacting With Russian Troops in South Ossetia
Ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are interacting with the troops assigned peacekeeping missions in South Ossetia, Russian General Staff Deputy Head Col. Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn told the press in Moscow on Sunday.
"They are operating as part of the forces and means involved in the peacekeeping operation in South Ossetia," he said.
"The ships are in the Black Sea waters," Nogovitsyn said.
