Georgia enters settlement of Mosabruni

Special force task of Georgia’s Interior Ministry has entered the settlement of Mosabruni, South Ossetia, the South Ossetian Defence Ministry told Itar-Tass on Monday.

"Special task force, involving 60 servicemen, has entered the village where a company of the South Ossetian Defence Minister and detachments of the South Ossetian Interior Ministry are deployed," a South Ossetian Defence Ministry official said.

"South Ossetia refrains from open confrontation in order to free the village," the official said.
