Five Georgian combat aircraft attacked South Ossetia
The commander of the joint peacekeeping forces (JPKF) in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone, Marat Kulahmetov, said that the Georgian Air Force launched air strikes on the territory of South Ossetia.
"A total of five Georgian Su-25 planes - first two, then three - attacked the territory of South Ossetia in a district near the town of Tkverneti" on Friday he told Interfax.
The command of peacekeeping forces still had no information on the impact caused by the Georgian Air Force strikes.
