Possible negative consequences of financial crisis in Greece worry Moscow
Moscow is concerned about possible negative consequences of the financial crisis in Greece, President Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday.
"We are concerned about possible negative consequences for the whole European space, the European Union," he said.
He was answering the question whether the Russian authorities are getting ready for a possible "double" default in Greece, which can be triggered by the need to timely pay off debt in Eurobonds and on the IMF loan.
According to Peskov, Moscow is keeping a close watch on how the events in the EU are developing in the context of the financial crisis in Greece.
